Thank you for your interest in participating in the Outdoor Economy Conference. Before you proceed to purchase tickets, we strongly recommend you go through the following terms and conditions:
In this section, words like ‘holder’, ‘bearer’, ‘attendee’ and ‘purchaser’ will refer to you – the person who will buy or otherwise receive tickets to Outdoor Economy Conference. ‘Our’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘issuer’, ‘provider’, ‘organizer’ and similar terms will indicate the organizers of Outdoor Economy Conference – Mountain BizWorks and the Growing Outdoors Partnership.
Please note that Mountain BizWorks reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the Outdoor Economy Conference website at www.outdooreconomy.org. These changes will relate back to the date of purchase of Outdoor Economy Conference tickets.
The ticket you purchase represents a revocable license for you to access the Event Center at Harrah’s Cherokee on October 12-15, 2021 when the Outdoor Economy Conference is scheduled to be hosted. The license includes the revocable right to attend the Outdoor Economy Conference. This license can be revoked at any time by the issuer at its sole discretion, without any prior notifications or compensation options. If the license is revoked, you will not be granted entry at the venue.
The bearer has to assume full responsibility of the Outdoor Economy Conference tickets, once (s)he receives it. Mountain BizWorks has no liabilities – financial, legal, or otherwise – in case the delivered tickets are stolen, lost, damaged, destroyed or rendered unusable in any other way.
Kindly note that www.outdooreconomy.org is the sole authorized source for purchasing Outdoor Economy Conference tickets. If you are having difficulties purchasing tickets from this site, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Data and Photography Policy
By purchasing Outdoor Economy Conference tickets and attending the event, you give your consent to Mountain BizWorks and the Growing Outdoors Partnership to collect certain information about yourself (name, email, address, etc.) for verification and storage. This information will not be provided to third parties, except where expressly permitted by attendee (e.g. by consenting to have attendee’s email address included in the event’s Attendee List.) Furthermore, photos and video will be taken at the event and may be used for promotional and educational purposes; by participating in the event you give your consent to be recorded, and to have photographs/videos of you used for these purposes.
Damage and Loss Liability Waiver
Mountain BizWorks does not take any responsibility to personal/financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/stolen/misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained.
Please note that you purchase Outdoor Economy Conference tickets of your own free will. As such, you do not have the right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute on the provider of the credit card/debit card that had been used for the transaction. Further refund/return/cancellation requests will not be entertained either.
In all cases of disputes between the ticket-bearer and the ticket-issuer, the decision of the latter will be deemed final. In case a dispute cannot be resolved, the help of an independent third-party arbiter will be sought.
Outdoor Economy Conference and Mountain BizWorks follow a common ‘zero-tolerance policy’ towards unauthorized drug usage or carrying at the venue, AND towards any type of behavior/actions that can be interpreted as lewd or obscene. If you are found in possession of prohibited items at Outdoor Economy Conference and/or if you indulge in any objectionable action, your participation in the event will be terminated immediately. Your event ticket(s) will become void from that point on.
Mountain BizWorks has the right to investigate if there has been any violation of the Outdoor Economy Conference ticketing terms and conditions. In case of any conflicts, the decision of Mountain BizWorks will be deemed final (i.e., the issuer will remain the final arbiter in cases of disputes).
COVID-19 Vaccination and Mask Policy
Given the ongoing dangers posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated before attending the conference (except when medical exemptions are involved). Furthermore, all attendees will be required to wear a face mask at all times while indoors, except while eating or drinking. Flagrant or repeated violations of this requirement will be considered grounds for a revocation of an attendee’s license to attend the event.
Mountain BizWorks and the Growing Outdoors Partnership have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, the Organizers cannot guarantee that you or your team will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, your attendance, participation, or both in a Company production (a “Production”) may increase your risk and your team’s risk of contracting COVID-19.
By purchasing this ticket, I, the undersigned, acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending, participating, or both in this event. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at this event may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Company’s employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives, and Production participants.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with a Production (“Claims”). I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Company, its principals, officers, managers, employees, agents, independent contractors, and representatives (collectively, the “Company Parties”), of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.
I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Company, its principals, officers, managers, employees, agents, independent contractors, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after my attendance at or participation in a Production.
Further, I shall indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Company Parties from any Claims, including, without limitation, arising from death or injury to me, other attendees or participants at a Production, or Company’s principals, employees, and independent contractors, caused by my negligence or intentional acts or inactions during the course of a Production.
The Outdoor Economy Conference is a ‘rain or shine’ event.
If you are not able to access any particular section(s) of the venue – the Cherokee Convention Center – due to delays, federal regulations, organizer policies, weather-related problems, emergencies, venue shutdown/evacuation or any other reason, you will not be eligible for any refunds or future credits.
If Outdoor Economy Conference is cancelled or postponed in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, Mountain BizWorks and the Growing Outdoors Partnership have the sole and absolute right to:
- i) reschedule the event, or
- ii) issue a partial/full refund, or
- iii) not issue any refunds.
Please note that the decision of the issuer in such cases will be deemed final and binding.
If Outdoor Economy Conference is cancelled due to any factors or causes not in the control of the issuer, the latter will offer a partial or full refund, or postpone the event, or provide a comparable ‘make good’ option. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to, natural disasters, federal/state announcements, strikes, delays in production, pandemics, and the like. Once again, the decision of Mountain BizWorks will be considered final. In case the event is fully canceled, the refund, if issued, will include ONLY the face value/printed value of the ticket(s). The bearer cannot, under any circumstances, claim refunds on shipping fees, processing fees, handling fees, and such other charges.
Losses, if any, occurring due to foreign exchange fluctuations at the time of refunds, will be borne by the purchaser. Mountain BizWorks shall not, in any way, be held liable for that.
